Adobe Audition（前名为Cool Edit Pro），为Syntrillium出品的多音轨编辑工具，支持128条音轨、多种音频特效、多种音频格式，可以很方便地对音频文件进行修改、合并。被Adobe收购，改名为Adobe Audition。

Adobe Audition第一版于2003年8月18日发布。这个版本没有新功能，其实就是重新命名的Cool Edit Pro。随后Adobe在2004年5月释出了Audition 1.5版；在第一版基础上的主要改进包含音高校正，频率空间编辑，CD专案检视，基础视频编辑和与Adobe Premiere集成，还有一些其他的功能增强。
第二版[编辑]
Adobe Audition第二版于2006年7月17日发布。此版本Audition针对专业的数位音讯工作站市场。新功能包含ASIO（音讯流输入/出）支援，VST（虚拟工作室技术）支援，新的控制工具（许多来自iZotope），重新设计的使用者介面（请看截图）。同时Adobe将Audition第二版作为CS 2（Creative Suite）应用套装程式的一部分。Audition第三版并没有并入CS，取而代之的是提供给家庭和半专业用户的Adobe Soundbooth（见下文）。
第三版[编辑]
Adobe Audition第三版于2007年11月8日发布。新功能包含VSTi（虚拟乐器）支援，增强的光谱编辑，重新设计的多轨使用者界面，新音效和一些无需支付技术使用费的回圈片段。
第四版（CS5.5）[编辑]
Adobe称为满足专业用家的要求，将重新推出Audition。Adobe Audition第四版在2011年4月11日于Adobe Creative Suite 5.5中替代Soundbooth。它可以运行在Windows和Mac OS X上。
第五版（CS6）[编辑]
2012年4月23日，Adobe发布了包含在Creative Suite 6中的Adobe Audition。
第六版（CC）[编辑]
2013年6月17日，Adobe发布了包含在Creative Cloud中的Adobe Audition。
